Looking around HK
Hi Anon; Welcome to HK, and good luck with your studies! I suggest doing some looking around on the parts of our site devoted to 'Things to see and do' then have a look at our links page in the "hiking sites' section. Dr Martin Williams's site is particularly good if you're interested in Hong Kong's ecology and environment. But do get yourself a set of the Hong Kong Countryside series maps from the Government Publication centers, either in Admiralty or in Yaumatei; they are indispensable! Hope to see you around on our site, and hear about your impressions of HK as you settle in. Mr Tall
Leisurely Hikers Guide to HK
I thoroughly enjoyed exploring some of the places that are included in this book by Pete Spurrier. Some great photography and historical insights, as well as plenty of suggestions for getting out and about.
