A tiny place, but a quality selection - dig around and you'll probably find something. Prices are comparable to Flow in Central. This small, non-profit shop is a labour of love for the book-loving owner who would be happy to just be able to cover her costs. I fear this one may not survive long (it opened this year), unless it gets more traffic.
There's an Oxfam charity store in the basement of Jardine's House in Central. I called in there today, and came away with three second-hand paperbacks, priced in the range $25-40 each.
In the high streets of small towns in the UK it seems like every other shop is a charity shop. There aren't many here though.
2/F, 40 Lyndhurst Terrace
Jam-packed with books, and next to the Mid-levels escalator, so it's easy to get to.
[Thanks to T for supplying the name of this place that I'd forgotten]
They are the only shop on this stretch of road, so they are easy to see. As well as selling books they also run a coffee shop and serve light meals too.
I had lunch there once - I didn't get ill but it was very unexciting (I think they cater to pupils from the nearby schools). So I'd suggest you to stick to the books.
